Your Role
As a Senior Project Superintendent, you’ll oversee field operations on complex, large-scale projects, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll lead teams, manage schedules, budgets, and staff, and cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Leading subcontractors and field employees with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Utilizing scheduling software to maintain and develop project timelines, including two-week look-ahead schedules.
- Overseeing subcontractor selection and buyout processes.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve timelines, and enhance quality.
- Ensuring compliance with all project documentation, policies, and procedures.
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Education: High school diploma required; an industry-related degree is preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of field and project construction management experience, including leadership in fast-paced environments.
- Skills: Proficiency in interpreting construction documents, managing project schedules and budgets, and strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Technology: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Apple products, and familiarity with Procore, JDE, and Asta software is preferred.
